West Riding Woodturners

Mastering the Art of Woodturning Together

Westriding Wood Turners are a vibrant community of woodturning enthusiasts. We meet once a month in the village of Eldwick to explore, challenge and help each other get better at our craft.

The website is currently being built, so please call back often to see it being updated. The site will be a meeting point for members. They will be able to interact with each other. Present their work and perhaps learn a thing or too.

At Woodturners, we practice the art and tradition of woodturning. Our mission is to foster a community of creators, sharing knowledge and inspiration through collaborative projects, events, and workshops.

News

It is with great sadness we have to announce the death of a deeply respected past member Eric Mans.
His funeral will be held at at Rawden Crematorium on Friday 12th June at 10.45.
There will be a gathering at the Brownlea Arms in Horsforth afterwards. The family would appreciate knowing who is going to attend so catering can be adjusted accordingly. Please let them know via email to (admin@westringwoodturners.org)

Our wood turning in the community project WIC got off to a flying start on the 25th Apr. We had a really successful open to all session at Damart café as part of the Bingley Creates Project. There were so many people the we could not fulfil the demand with 3 lathes and 5 tutors. Apologies to those who had to wait. If you have an interest in woodturning or are a woodturner and need more information about our club, email us with your name and we will respond……
